How much notice do I need to consider from enquiry through to booking?
Generally at least 2 weeks, especially through the summer months and at bank holidays when we are always extremely busy. Less notice is needed in winter months.
How do I arrange a quotation?
It's easy, just call your nearest office to arrange a free survey of your property. This allows us to accurately assess the volume of goods you plan to move, and other important factors such as the packing required and access to property. It also allows us to provide an accurate quote - remember, your moving needs are completely individual to you.

Do we have to pay a deposit?
No, a deposit is not required, but we do need full payment seven days before the move.
Can we provisionally book a moving date?
Provisional bookings cannot be taken - a completion date has to be confirmed.
Will you do all of my packing and unpacking?
The simple answer is yes, if you want us to. We're completely flexible, it depends entirely on your preferences. We can carry out a full pack, breakables-only pack or customers can pack themselves. Many customers are surprised how cost-effective it is to have Robinsons do all the packing.
Will Robinsons disconnect my washing machine?
No! We take care of most things, but that's something you'll have to sort out yourself before moving day.
Can you transport my plants?
Yes, we can move plants direct to your new address, though not into storage.
What will I do with the empty boxes?
Once you have finished your unpacking, just call the Robinsons branch that moved you to arrange collection.
What if we need to store our furniture or other large items?
We can arrange storage for any quantity or duration - we're as expert in storage as we are in removals!
Are your staff fully trained?
Robinsons has a highly skilled workforce. We're committed to providing regular and ongoing training to ensure everyone is fully aware of the very latest packing and handling techniques.
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
Yes, both in the UK and internationally.
